Aqua Max Weir Basket — Replacement

The weir basket sits inside your pool skimmer (weir) box and catches leaves, insects, and large debris before they reach the pump. This prevents blockages in the pump impeller and protects the filtration system. Check and empty the basket at least once a week — more often if you have overhanging trees.

When to Replace

Replace the basket if it’s cracked, warped, or the mesh is broken. A damaged basket lets debris pass through to the pump, which can block the impeller or damage the shaft seal. Fits standard Aqua Max weir boxes.
