Chlor-Guard is a pool stabiliser (cyanuric acid) that protects chlorine from being destroyed by the sun’s UV rays. Without stabiliser, sunlight can destroy up to 90% of your pool’s chlorine within a few hours. Adding Chlor-Guard extends the life of your chlorine, reducing chemical consumption and keeping sanitiser levels consistent throughout the day.

How to Use

Test your pool’s cyanuric acid (stabiliser) level — the ideal range is 30–50 ppm. Add Chlor-Guard through the weir with the pump running on filter. Retest after 24 hours. Do not overdose — excess stabiliser (above 100 ppm) reduces chlorine effectiveness and the only fix is diluting the pool with fresh water.
