Aqua Max 1.1kW Pool Pump

The Aqua Max 1.1kW is a self-priming swimming pool pump for large residential pools up to 90,000 litres. When a standard 0.75kW pump doesn’t provide enough flow for your pool volume, the 1.1kW steps up with significantly higher turnover rates. This pump is commonly chosen for larger family pools, L-shaped pools, and pools with extended plumbing runs where additional flow is needed to maintain proper circulation. Clamped Lid for Easy Maintenance

The clamped lid design allows fast access to the strainer basket without tools. Simply release the clamp handle, lift the lid, and remove the basket to clear leaves and debris. The lid O-ring maintains an airtight seal to keep the pump primed. On larger pools with more debris load, easy basket access is especially important — you can check and empty the basket in under a minute.

Self-Priming Operation

The Aqua Max 1.1kW is self-priming, drawing water from below pump level without manual filling each time. Once initially primed, the pump retains water in the volute and re-primes automatically on startup.

Pump Pairing

Pair the 1.1kW with a 5-bag sand filter (125kg sand) for optimal filtration. The higher flow rate of the 1.1kW motor requires a larger filter to maintain proper filtration velocity — using a filter that’s too small will reduce water clarity and increase backwash frequency.
