Aqua Max 1-Bag Sand Filter

The Aqua Max 1-Bag Sand Filter provides mechanical filtration for small residential swimming pools and splash pools up to 15,000 litres. Water passes through 40kg of filter sand inside the 430mm diameter tank, trapping dirt, debris, and particles down to approximately 20 microns. The compact size makes it ideal for townhouse pools, courtyard pools, and Jacuzzi installations.

Recommended Pump Pairing

Pair with a 0.25kW to 0.45kW pool pump for optimal flow rate and filtration performance. Oversizing the pump pushes water through the sand bed too fast and reduces filtration quality.

Maintenance

Backwash when the filter pressure gauge reads 80–100kPa above the clean starting pressure, or at least once a week during swimming season. Replace filter sand every 18–24 months or when water clarity deteriorates despite regular backwashing.
