The Aqua Max 2.2kW is a self-priming swimming pool pump engineered for very large residential and commercial pools. This is the most powerful pump in the Aqua Max range, delivering high-volume water circulation for pools that exceed 120,000 litres. High-Volume Commercial Performance

The 2.2kW motor generates significantly higher flow rates than residential-grade pumps. This is necessary for commercial pools where health regulations require faster water turnover rates, often 4 to 6 hours instead of the residential standard of 8 hours. The increased flow also supports higher bather loads and heavier debris conditions typical of commercial environments.

Clamped Lid for Easy Maintenance

The clamped lid design allows fast access to the strainer basket without tools. Simply release the clamp handle, lift the lid, and remove the basket to clear leaves and debris. In commercial settings where baskets fill quickly due to higher usage, tool-free access speeds up daily maintenance routines.

Self-Priming Operation

The Aqua Max 2.2kW is self-priming, drawing water from below pump level without manual filling each time. Once initially primed, the pump retains water in the volute and re-primes automatically on startup.

Pump Pairing

Pair the 2.2kW with a 7-bag sand filter (175kg sand) or larger commercial filter to handle the high flow rates. Undersizing the filter at this pump capacity will cause poor filtration, high backpressure, and shortened equipment life.
