Aqua Max Jacuzzi Heater Set – PVC Casing, Yoke Box & 4kW Element

The Aqua Max jacuzzi heater set gives you the three main parts of an inline spa heater in one pack: a PVC heater casing, a yoke box and a 4kW heating element. You plumb the casing into the jacuzzi’s circulation line, so water flows past the element and warms up before it returns to the spa. As a result, you can build or repair a heater without sourcing each part separately.

What’s in the Jacuzzi Heater Set?

• PVC heater casing: First, a blue PVC tube with two side ports fitted with black barrel unions for easy connection and removal.
• 4kW heating element: Next, a stainless steel element with a threaded boss and seal that screws into the end of the casing.
• Yoke box: Finally, a PVC cover that fits over the element terminals to protect the electrical connections.

How an Inline Jacuzzi Heater Works

Your jacuzzi pump pushes water in through one port of the casing. The water then flows along the element, picks up heat and leaves through the other port. Because the element sits inside a sealed PVC tube, it heats the water directly and loses very little energy along the way.

Important Safety Information

A 4kW element draws around 17A at 230V. Therefore, a qualified electrician must install it on a suitably rated circuit with earth leakage protection and correct earthing. In addition, the element must never run without water flowing past it. For that reason, the heater should be wired so that it only switches on when the pump is running, usually with a flow or pressure switch and a thermostat. Otherwise, the element can overheat, fail or damage the casing.

Replacing Just the Element

If your casing and yoke box are still in good condition, you may only need a new element. In that case, the Aqua Max 4kW jacuzzi heating element is also sold on its own.
