Kreepy Krauly Hug Bug Pro Tune-Up Kit – Genuine Parts

The Kreepy Krauly Hug Bug Pro tune-up kit replaces the main wearing parts of the drive system in your Hug Bug Pro pool cleaner. It comes as one genuine pack, so you don’t have to buy each part separately. As a result, you can restore your cleaner’s movement and climbing power for a fraction of the cost of a new cleaner.

What’s Inside the Hug Bug Pro Tune-Up Kit

• 1 x long drive shaft
• 1 x short drive shaft
• 2 x bearings
• 1 x bearing housing
• 1 x bearing housing spring

These are the parts that turn the tracks and rollers. Consequently, they wear the most as your cleaner works its way around the pool every day.

When Does Your Cleaner Need a Tune-Up?

Over time, the shafts and bearings wear, and the cleaner slowly loses drive. For example, you may notice any of these signs:

• First, the cleaner moves more slowly than it used to.
• It also struggles to climb walls or gets stuck in corners.
• In addition, you hear grinding or clicking from inside the body.
• Finally, the tracks stop turning even though the pump is running.

However, check the basics before you replace any parts. Make sure the pump basket, skimmer basket and filter are clean and that the hose has no leaks, because low suction causes the same symptoms.

Why Choose a Genuine Hug Bug Pro Tune-Up Kit?

Genuine Kreepy Krauly parts are made to the original specifications for the Hug Bug Pro. Therefore, they fit correctly and wear evenly with the rest of the cleaner. Replacing the shafts, bearings and housing together also means the new parts run as a matched set, instead of a new part wearing against an old one.

Compatibility

This tune-up kit fits the Kreepy Krauly Hug Bug Pro suction pool cleaner only. It does not fit other Kreepy Krauly models, so check the model name on your cleaner before you order.
