Pool DC Calcium Flakes — Calcium Hardness Increaser (4kg)
Calcium flakes for raising calcium hardness levels in pool water. Calcium hardness is especially important after replastering (marbelite) — if the water’s calcium level is too low, the water becomes aggressive and will leach calcium from the new plaster, causing etching, roughness, and premature plaster deterioration. Adding calcium flakes protects your investment in a new plaster finish.
When to Use
After replastering/re-marbeliting a pool. When calcium hardness tests below the recommended range (180–220 ppm for plaster pools). When water feels “aggressive” and surfaces are becoming rough or pitted.
How to Use
Test calcium hardness first. Dissolve the required amount in a bucket of pool water, then pour around the pool edges with the pump running. Retest after 24 hours.
