Aqua Max Pool Light Body with Cable – 3m, Nut & Seal

The Aqua Max pool light body with cable is the white housing that sits in your pool wall and holds the light. It comes with a 3m marine cable already fitted, plus the mounting nut and seal. It is not the light itself, so you fit your own LED lamp inside it. As a result, you can replace a cracked, leaking or corroded housing without changing the whole light.

Body, Lamp or Complete Light – What Do You Need?

• Light body (this product): First, choose this if the housing or its cable is damaged but your lamp still works.
• LED retrofit lamp: Next, choose a lamp only if the housing is fine and you just want a new or brighter light, for example a blue LED retrofit, white LED retrofit or colour changing LED retrofit.
• Complete light: Finally, choose a complete unit if both the housing and the lamp need replacing, or for a new pool.

Why Choose a Pool Light Body with Cable?

Because the 3m cable comes pre-fitted and sealed through the back of the body, you avoid making your own cable seal. In addition, the marine-grade cable suits permanent underwater use. The nut and seal clamp the body into the wall niche, so water cannot leak behind it.

Installation

1. First, switch off the power to the light at the transformer.
2. Next, remove the old light and pull its cable out through the conduit.
3. Then feed the new 3m cable through the conduit to the deck box.
4. After that, fit the body into the niche and tighten the nut over the seal.
5. Finally, fit your lamp, connect the cable in the deck box and test the light only once it is underwater.

A qualified electrician should make all electrical connections. If your cable run is longer than 3m, join extra marine cable with a waterproof resin cable joint.
