Important — Koi Pond Use Only

This sand is graded for koi pond filtration systems, not swimming pool filters. Koi ponds have different filtration requirements — the sand works alongside biological filtration to handle the organic waste load produced by fish. Do not use chlorine or chemical sanitisers in koi pond systems as these are harmful to fish.
