Aqua Max DIN Rail – 212mm

This Aqua Max DIN rail is a 212mm metal mounting rail for the inside of an electrical distribution board (DB). Circuit breakers, earth leakage units, timers and other DIN-mounted devices clip straight onto it. As a result, everything in your pool DB sits neatly in a row and stays firmly in place.

What Mounts on a DIN Rail?

• Single pole circuit breakers and double pole breakers
• Earth leakage units
• Pool pump timers, including the Wi-Fi smart timer switch
• Contactors, relays and terminal blocks

When to Replace or Add a DIN Rail

You may need a new DIN rail when you replace a damaged or rusted one, build a new pool DB, or add space for an extra breaker or timer. The rail is 212mm long, so measure the space inside your enclosure before you order. In addition, the slotted holes along the length make it easy to screw the rail to the back plate of the box. Because the rail is made of metal, it stays rigid and holds devices securely, even in a busy board.

Fitting Tips

Always switch off the main supply before you work inside a DB. First, screw the rail firmly to the back of the enclosure. Next, hook the top of each device over the rail and press down until the clip snaps into place. To remove a device, pull the clip at the bottom down with a screwdriver. For safety, electrical work on pool equipment should be done or checked by a qualified electrician.
