Aqua Max Weir Vac Lid in Terracotta

This Aqua Max weir vac lid is a replacement for the vacuum plate that sits on top of the basket inside your Aqua Max weir. The hole in the centre is where your pool cleaner hose or manual vacuum hose connects. As a result, the pump draws water through the hose and the weir, and your cleaner can do its job.

Why Replace Your Weir Vac Lid?

Over time, sun, chlorine and constant suction take their toll on the lid. A warped or cracked vac lid lets air and water leak in around the edges. Consequently, your pool cleaner loses suction, moves slowly or stops altogether. Common signs include:

• A pool cleaner that stalls or struggles to climb walls
• Air bubbles in the pump basket
• The hose cuff no longer sealing firmly in the lid
• Visible cracks, chips or warping on the plate

Made to Fit the Aqua Max Weir

This weir vac lid is designed for the Aqua Max weir, so it sits flat on the basket and seals properly. It comes in terracotta, and it’s also available in blue. If the rubber collar around the vacuum point is worn, add a weir vacuum lid cuff for a tight seal around the hose.

Fitting Your New Lid

First, switch off the pump. Next, lift the weir deck lid, remove the old vac lid and check that the weir basket underneath is clean and undamaged. Then place the new lid on the basket, push the cleaner hose into the vacuum point and switch the pump back on. Within a few seconds, your cleaner should start moving again.
