Aqua Max Fibreglass Pool Mosaic – Mix Blue Trio (25 x 900mm)

Aqua Max fibreglass pool mosaic tissue gives your pool the look of a real tiled waterline band without laying a single tile. Each sheet is printed with a Mix Blue Trio pattern of light, mid and dark blue squares. Because the tissue sets into the fibreglass lining itself, the mosaic becomes part of the pool surface rather than sitting on top of it.

What Is Fibreglass Pool Mosaic Tissue?

Mosaic tissue is a thin, printed glass-fibre sheet. It soaks up resin and gel coat in the same way as ordinary glass fibre matting. As a result, it bonds into the lining and lasts as long as the fibreglass around it. You can apply it to a new fibreglass pool or during a fibreglass relining job.

How Many Sheets Do I Need?

Each sheet is 900mm long, so a pack of 25 sheets covers 22.5 metres of waterline. To work out what you need, measure your pool’s perimeter. For example, an 8m x 4m pool has a perimeter of 24m. Therefore, it needs 27 sheets, which means 2 packs. Always allow a little extra for corners, steps and overlaps.

How to Apply Fibreglass Pool Mosaic Tissue

1. First, prepare and sand the fibreglass surface where the band will go.
2. Next, mark a level line around the pool at your waterline height.
3. Then lay each sheet into a coat of wet clear fibreglass pool resin and roll out any air bubbles.
4. After that, butt the next sheet up against the last one so the pattern lines up.
5. Finally, once the resin has set, seal the band with NCS mosaic gel coat. This clear finish protects the print and lets the pattern show through.
