How Many Glass Filter Media 2 Pack Bags Do I Need?

How to Swap Sand for Glass

1. First, switch off the pump and remove the multiport valve.
2. Next, scoop out the old sand and check the laterals for cracks.
3. Then cover the standpipe and half-fill the tank with water to cushion the laterals.
4. After that, pour in the glass, refit the valve and backwash for 2–3 minutes.
5. Finally, rinse for 30 seconds and switch back to filter.
